Oliver Guttierez

Oliver Guttierez, an engineer with the Guatemala Ministry of Energy, Guatemala City, Guatemala, recently spent two months as a guest of Canspec Group Inc.Eastern Division.Oliver was on an International Atomic Energy Agency Fellowship intended to give him practical experience in the application of a variety of non-destructive testing applications.During six weeks in Oakville, and three weeks in Sarnia, Oliver had the opportunity to work in refineries, pulp mills, chemical plants and a wide variety of field sites and he expanded his knowledge of all NDT methods.He returned to Guatemala to his position as head of the NDT laboratory in the Ministry of Energy and will apply his experience immediately to the tasks of that laboratory.
