   "It's great to be the first university press to be profiled this way," said Romi Gutierrez, assistant manager of trade/sales promotion at the University Press of Florida.
   
   The Press is a branch of the State University System that is responsible for publishing a number of scholarly books and texts across the eleven universities in Florida. The Press has also published original works by University System faculty.
   
   The bus will film Thursday morning at the Press's building, 15 NW 15th St., where it will highlight several books on the Press's history and political sciences list. Gutierrez, a fan of the weekend-long Book TV programming, said she hopes the broadcast gives the Press more exposure and recognition.
   
   The bus will be parked at the Engineering lot across from the Reitz Union from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. There, students can visit the bus for a tour of the studio and an interactive demonstration on Book TV programming.
   
   "We'd definitely like the students and faculty on campus to go check out the bus," Gutierrez said, "to get people interested in reading and books."

   Along with promoting books and other varying educational resources, the Book TV Bus also promotes Book TV programming -- something Gutierrez said she feels is a good thing.
   
   "I like the fact that it is substantive material," Gutierrez said.
