Howard Guterman

Howard Guterman, MD, CMD, one of the first AMDA members to receive the AMDA CMD credential in September 1991, devoted great enthusiasm and personal time to AMDA's Annual Symposium Poster Session from 1990 until his death in 1997.In honor of his work and to preserve poster presentations at annual symposia, the AMDA Foundation Board of Directors established the Howard Guterman Poster Award in 1998 to recognize the most outstanding contribution to the AMDA Annual Symposium Poster Session.
