Kent Gustafson , vice president and chief executive officer of Polnet , said the power boost has increased the station's signal coverage fivefold.

Polnet also owns north suburban WKTA-AM ( 1330 ) , a time-brokered station exclusively airing Russian , Korean and German programming.
