Hallmark Channel is continuing its participation in the T. Howard Foundation's internship effort for 2004, bringing on board Victor Guss, who has joined the channel's Network Distribution and Service team as this year's intern.
During the internship, Guss is developing knowledge of Hallmark's distribution efforts, as well as gaining an understanding of how sales and marketing functions are interrelated at the network.He is focusing on two key target groups, DBS and special market customers, Hallmark said.
Prior to joining Hallmark Channel, Guss was event manager and business development intern at Fireworks International Creative Services, where he managed PR efforts through press releases and various media outlets.Previously, he was a technology associate for ICG Commerce, where he coordinated testing and managing of software upgrades and support of 19 auctions averaging $4 million.
Guss is working on an MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.He received his Bachelor of Arts Cum Laude in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
