  Leading Hampshire-based technical recruitment specialists Matchtech Group Plc, have promoted Adrian Gunn to the position of Group Sales Director.Adrian, 40 joined the company in 1988 as a recruitment consultant and has been promoted consistently to this senior position through Matchtech's commitment to staff development.
  
  As a Board Director and Fellow of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (FREC), Adrian takes full responsibility for all Matchtech's divisional sales in addition to maximising opportunities for the managed services division.Bids and tenders for new business along with the development of existing client relationships will also fall under his remit.
  
  Matchtech employs 200 staff at its head office in Fareham.Annually it finds employment for over 6000 job seekers within the engineering, construction and IT markets.It has recently set new standards in the recruitment industry by attaining the "assured excellence in recruitment" stamp of the REC Audited status, the highest standard of quality certification in the recruitment industry.They have also achieved triple certification to quality, environmental and health & safety standards.

  Adrian joined Matchtech in 1988 as a recruitment consultant and was appointed a divisional director in 1998. He was appointed to the plc Board in 2004 as Business Development Director and Group Sales Director in 2005. He took over as Group Managing Director on 1st February 2007 and now holds the role of Chief Executive Officer heading up the Group's Executive Team. Adrian is a Fellow of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals as well as a Non-Executive Corporate Director of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation.
