Sam Guerrero - San Angelo AIDS Foundation

SAAF Housing Manager Sam Guerrero said the fund raiser is a good opportunity for novices to enjoy the opera because a master of ceremonies will talk the audience through each of the pieces.

This year's fund raiser, Guerrero said, is important especially in the wake of the state's impending budget crunch.

"The state cuts are really harsh," he said."We're really counting on the community to support us."

Monies raised will help pick up the slack other grants SAAF receives don't cover.
