The Galician partner of the Aquaculture By Products Network", Mr. Salvador Guerrero, will also present the state of affairs of aqua by product management in BMW and Trøndelag, based upon the information forwarded by his partners in the project. He will also announce the launching of the website http://www.aquabyproducts.com/ where all the collected information in the 3 regions about regulation, companies, professional services, etc, is available, aiming to become a valuable tool for linking waste producers with waste managers and by-products producers.

Present at the meeting were the participants of the three regions (Richie Flynn and Joe Mc Elwee, from the I.F.A., Sigurd Borgo from the Norwegian Seafood Ass. and Salvador Guerrero from C.I.M.A.) and the AquaReg Coordinator for Galicia, Gabriel de Labra.

Salvador Guerrero explained to the attendance that the main by- product in Galician Aquaculture comes from the Mussel farming, both shells and pseudo faeces.
