The body of millionaire developer and businessman Nelson Gross , the husband of New Jersey Racing Commission Chairwoman Noel Love Gross , was found Wednesday in a wooded area near the George Washington Bridge in New York City.

Three teenagers , including one who was a former employee of a New Jersey restaurant owned by Gross , have been charged with murder.Gross was found stabbed and bludgeoned to death.

Gross was allegedly forced to withdraw $ 20 , 000 from a New Jersey bank at gunpoint by the three teenagers on September 17.Gross' 1990 BMW was found on September 20 , abandoned and stripped on New York's Upper West Side.Source Thoroughbred Times.25.

Commission Chairwoman Noel Love Gross said commissioners recognize that their decision translates into a loss of revenue for Thoroughbred horsemen, but said that issue is not the commission's to decide.

The meeting, which was mediated by New Jersey Racing Commission chairwoman Noel Love Gross and members John Tucker and Basil Plasteras, sought common ground on the issue of protecting live Thoroughbred racing dates and the relation of live dates to telephone account wagering legislation.
