   Austin College student Jon Greer is passing out flyers for a program called B.E.E.P….Bringing Everyone Everywhere Protection. Greer started it after his friend died in a house fire last year. He goes from door to door educating the public about household preventative measures such as proper use of smoke detectors.
   
   "No one is invincible to a fire. There are ways to prevent it though. You need to make sure your smoke detectors work and you find a safe exit path through your house. Doing such can give you a lot better chance of surviving in a fire," Jon Greer, Student Coordinator for B.E.E.P.
