LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY, April 16, 1999: Dwight Greenwell, Taylorsville, has been named Director of Member Services for the Kentucky Farm Bureau Federation.

Greenwell will begin his new duties May 1.
Greenwell comes to his new position following 18 years as area program director for Farm Bureau in 12 Central Kentucky counties.
As member services director, Greenwell will manage Farm Bureau's service and discount buying programs, and will oversee the development of Farm Bureau's new banking service, which will begin operation later this year in participating Kentucky counties.He also will oversee the processing and tracking of the organization's membership records.
The Farm Bureau Bank, currently in the process of obtaining a federal charter, will link Farm Bureau members in Kentucky and 38 other states, offering credit and debit cards, as well as checking and savings accounts to Farm Bureau members.
Eventually the bank is expected to expand its services, offering loans and investment options to patrons.
Beck said that Greenwell brings a strong combination of Farm Bureau work and business experience to his new job.

Greenwell, who began work with Farm Bureau in 1981, attended Western Kentucky University, and graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BS degree in agricultural economics.
He has been engaged in a number of business ventures in Spencer County, including a Farm Bureau-affiliated tire dealership and a farming operation.
He and his wife Ange have a daughter and two sons.
