   The Magdalena Project, founded by Jill Greenhalgh in 1986 is a worldwide cross cultural network of theatre and performance commited to ensuring the visibilty of women's artistic endevours.
   
   2006/2007 sees events taking place worldwide to celebrate the project's 20th anniversary and its achievments throughout the years.
   
   Events are to include, The Acts, a project developed by Jill with the help of performers Charlotte Nightingale and Maria Sanchez investigating the 12 years of unresolved femicides on the Mexico/US border.
   ...
   During the course of the tour a number of lectures will be delivered by Jill Greenhalgh on the growth, since the project's development following her interest in performance work developed by women, and future of the Magdalena Project.
   
   The Wales Arts International's International Opportunities Fund will be supporting the Peru/Columbia and Denmark stage of the tour.
