Regardless , the results have boosted reformers around the country , including those in Massachusetts , who are hoping to present a similar initiative in 2002.

If anyone is contemplating a similar effort in Texas , they haven't made it public yet.

Thanks to the Junior League of Richardson , RISD Language Arts Director Terri Green was able to provide full-day training sessions for all K-3 classroom teachers , ESL ( English as a Second Language ) and special education teachers.The Junior League provided a training room and a central location to store materials.Their generosity served as an invaluable tool in furthering this important RISD initiative.
