Lisa Greenbaum is the creative force behind Greenbaum Clothing Co., a Toronto-based women's contemporary line for urban professionals. After graduating from The University of Western Ontario with an Honours BA in English, Lisa went on to study Fashion Management at George Brown College. There she acquired knowledge and experience of both the business and design side of the fashion industry and following graduation in 2001, she immediately started work on her first collection.

Growing up a dancer in Pickering, Lisa's love of fashion began at the age of 14 when she unofficially launched her design career by creating her own costumes for competitions and recitals.Soon she was designing clothes for herself as well as her peers, and what began as a hobby later evolved into a full fledged career.After studying English and Fashion Management at college she immediately began work on her first collection.

Lisa Greenbaum (Greenbaum Clothing Co.), owner and designer of Greenbaum Clothing Co., was born in and grew up in Pickering, a suburb of Toronto.She spent the majority of her early 20's emerged in the rave culture of downtown Toronto and London, Ont., where she was attending the University of Western Ontario.Graduating in 1998 and wanting to pursue a career in fashion she enrolled in George Brown College Fashion Management Program, graduating with honours in 2001.

Currently living and working in Toronto, she launched her first collection for Greenbaum Clothing the Spring of 2002.Promoting designs that are versatile, easy to wear and easy to care for.The clothing is urban and sexy and the influence of the post-rave culture can be clearly seen in her funky silhouettes.The line is currently sold through online at the She Shoppe, as well as stores in Toronto; Lilith, Flavour Hall, Solstice.Liquid Clothing in Vancouver and Sagesse in Calgary.
