Gordon is the founder of Matthew Dallas Gordon LLC.He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, March 22, 1956.Attorney Gordon is admitted to practice in Connecticut state court, the U. S. District Court, the Southern District of New York, and the U. S. Supreme Court.Attorney Gordon graduated from Bard College with a B.A. in 1980.He obtained his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1987 where he was a member, and later Managing Editor, of the Connecticut Law Review.Attorney Gordon is a past president of the Hartford County Bar Association and has served on its Board of Directors since 1996.He is also a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and has served as the Chairman of its Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Law Section/Young Lawyers Division.He is presently a member of the CBA House of Delegates (the governing body of the CBA) and has served on several CBA Task Forces, including the Task Force Regarding Secrecy and the Courts and the CBA Task Force Regarding the Structure of the Connecticut Bar Association.Attorney Gordon is also a James W. Cooper Program Fellow for the Connecticut Bar Foundation, a charitable organization which promotes better understanding of the judicial system and addresses matters concerning the administration of justice.Attorney Gordon is also a member of the American Bar Association and Litigation Counsel of America and was recently included in Best's Directory of Recommended Insurance Attorneys and Adjusters.
Attorney Gordon has tried numerous jury cases to verdict in state and federal court including cases of personal injury, insurance coverage, and municipal liability and has argued several cases on appeal.
