Kenmore, Wash. - City Manager Steve Anderson is pleased to announce that Jennifer Gordon will join the City of Kenmore as the new Public Works Operations Manager with a start date of Aug. 18.

Gordon previously served as the Public Works Supervisor for the past two years at the City of Mill Creek.Prior to Mill Creek, she served four years as the grounds manager for Bellevue Community College and two years as lead gardener for the University of Washington Bothell Campus.

As public works operations manager, Gordon will oversee Kenmore public works operations, including street and park maintenance, traffic surface water, right of way, and city facilities in cooperation with neighboring agencies and through a variety of public and private contracts.

"This is an exciting time to join the City of Kenmore as there are several projects that will involve public works," said Public Works Operations Manager Jennifer Gordon.
