Helen Gordon

The star of the month of November is Helen Gordon (Beta Iota-Purdue).

Helen Gordon is WDC's November Star of the Month!Helen headed to her alma mater Purdue this month to hear Amy Tan speak at the Lecture in Values and Ethics she helped establish.This is just one of the many areas in which Helen, a first year member of the WDC alumnae chapter, participates and supports DG.

Moving to DC from Atlanta about nine months ago, Helen joined the DC chapter as an Anchor member and volunteered to hostess the January main chapter event without having met a member of the DC group.She immediately became involved in the chapter while continuing to serve as Webmaster for the Atlanta alumnae chapter during their search for a replacement.

Attending the 2006 Convention, Anchored Under the Palms, she served in her Executive Office role as E-Ops Coordinator, DG's online operations center to allow alumnae and collegiage chapters to track their progress in lieu of old fashioned written reports.Currently, she has stepped forward to serve as the chapter's Webmaster for the next few months until she takes a six month break out of the country!

Helen and her husband John are purchasing a home in DC as a rest stop during their future travels.We are grateful for an example of a DG superstar right here in our own chapter!
