  Detective Greg Gordon with the Pensacola Police Department said in a news release that a woman left the south entrance of the store and was walking toward her vehicle when a small dark blue car drove up to her.A white male driver grabbed her purse and drove away.

  The two were caught about 7:55 p.m. Saturday when Detective Greg Gordon of the Pensacola Police Department spotted a car in the Cordova Mall parking lot.The car matched the description given by victims of the thefts.Gordon was working off duty when he heard a dispatcher call about a car involved in an attempted strong-arm robbery near Bloodworth Lane and Lansing Drive.

  Detective Greg Gordon said the man has stolen clothes from Dillard's in Cordova Mall at least three times since May 8.
  
  Gordon said the man usually pulls up to a store entrance, parks his truck, leaves a door open and enters the store.He then takes clothes from display areas and leaves the store.
  
  The suspect is a black man, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, in his mid-30s to mid-40s.He has a mustache and sometimes wears black-rimmed glasses.He drives a red Ford F-150 extended cab truck with a red fiberglass bed cover.
  
  Anyone with information is asked to contact Gordon at 435-1970 or the Pensacola Police Department at 435-1900.

  Williams, 23, and Madsen, 21, were taken into custody Saturday night after a car chase that began when Detective Greg Gordon with the Pensacola Police Department spotted the suspects' car in the Cordova Mall parking lot.

  The incident began at about 3 a.m. Sunday, after the two men argued about a woman who was at Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St., said Detective Greg Gordon in the report.

  Officers Greg Gordon and Andrew Nadeau initially were dispatched to K-Mart to serve an outstanding warrant for grand theft on Rich, a former K-Mart employee who had gone to the business to get her paycheck.
