   Geoffrey H. Gordon, MD, is Associate Director for Clinical Education and Research at the Bayer Institute for Health Care Communication, a position he has held since 1997.Prior to serving as associate director, Dr. Gordon served as a staff physician at the Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) in Portland, Oregon.He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis, and his MD from the University of California, Irvine, College of Medicine.Dr. Gordon completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California, Irvine, and his fellowship in medicine and psychiatry at the University of Rochester.He is a member of the Society of General Internal Medicine, a fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a charter fellow of the American Academy on Physician and Patient.Dr. Gordon is currently a Professor of Medicine and Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine as well as a Staff Physician at the VAMC in West Haven, Connecticut.
