Gary Gordon was born and raised in the Bronx.He attended the NYC public schools and knows what to expect.It took Gary twenty years to go back to college.In that time span, he has done everything from restoring apartments to working as a stock broker.Gary earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics in August 2004 from Queens College.While going to school as a full time student, he was also a stay-at-home dad, taking care of his 3 1/2 year old twin boys.It was after his sons were born that he was bit by the teaching bug.One of his sons was diagnosed with autism.He believes the dedication and patience needed to raise his sons has given him the necessary tools to become a great teacher.Besides spending time with his family, Gary likes to dance and watch movies.Gary teaches at City-as-School High School in Manhattan.
