   Selma Goore : The idea of the journal has been one of those dreams that you have sometimes in life. About five years ago, at the NSACA national conference, we gathered some people who were interested in a journal, but at that time, the organization really be not ready for it.

   Selma Goore, Ed.D., is an independent consultant with Quality School-Age Programs and is Chair of the Professional Development Committee of the New Jersey School-Age Coalition. She developed after-school programs as Director of Community Education in a New Jersey school district, and she helped organize NSACA in the 1980s.
