Mr. Gonzalez is originally from Galveston, Texas.
He has a BBA from Sam Houston State University with a major in general business.
Mr. Gonzalez also was a two year lettermen and starting catcher for the Sam Houston Bearkats baseball team.
Mark started his career in mortgage lending and banking with Citizen's Bank of Texas.
Prior to Flagstone Mr. Gonzalez worked at other lending institutions and mortgage companies where he honed his skills in sub-prime lending.
With almost a decade of experience of assisting those with less than perfect credit Mr. Gonzalez has established himself as a leading authority on sub-prime lending.
He has developed such an outstanding reputation that many builders refer clients to him that they cannot get approved.
In turn, Mr. Gonzalez puts that knowledge to work for his clients and homebuilders by being able to quickly offer the best product options to meet their unique needs.
His understanding of credit issues aids his clients in making their decision.
Mr. Gonzalez is married to his wonderful wife Jennifer who is a local pediatric dentist in Houston.
Outside of work Mark is an avid offshore fisherman and enjoys taking clients out on his boat.
