Dr Joe Goldstrich is a nationally recognized expert in cardiac prevention, nutrition and lipid management.
Dr. Goldstrich received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, where he later served on the faculty.
During the 40-plus years since he graduated from medical school, he has served as a physician in private practice, as national director of education and community programs for the American Heart Association, and as chief cardiologist and medical director at the Pritikin Longevity Center in California.
In addition to his expertise in preventive cardiology, Dr. Goldstrich is a leader in Nutritional and Integrative Medicine.
He has authored 4 books on the use of nutritional medicine in the treatment and prevention of atherosclerosis and heart disease.
Dr. Goldstrich has lectured across the country on Nutrition, Complementary Medicine and Preventive Cardiology and is a former host of a preventive medicine radio program.
Dr. Goldstrich is Board Certified in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and a graduate of the American Heart Association Lipid Disorders Training Centers Program.
In 2002, Dr. Goldstrich was certified by the Board for Nutrition Specialists and in 2005 he was designated a Diplomate of Clinical Lipidology by the American Board of Clinical Lipidology (one of only 160 U.S. physicians Board Certified in Lipidology as of 2006).
