Deena Goldstein, Appointed Development Director

Deena R. Goldstein joins the AKC Canine Health Foundation staff as the newly appointed Director of Development.Along with energy and enthusiasm, Deena brings to the Foundation a wealth of fundraising, marketing and event planning experience.

As a Development Associate at the American Cancer Society, Deena was instrumental in securing corporate sponsorships and significant donor gifts for cancer research, education and patient services.Deena also created and implemented a variety of marketing and media strategies as well.As Promotions Director for WCOL FM Radio, Deena coordinated all station promotions, and has organized events for up to 25,000 attendees.

Deena has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa.Her love of dogs began as a child, where Great Danes, West Highland White Terriers and Labrador Retrievers quickly became family members in her home.Deena's love of dogs continues, as she sets her dedication and creativity to the pursuit of longer and healthier lives for dogs through research, education and fundraising.
