Amy Goldstein - Senior Vice President, Associate Media Director (Los Angeles)

Amy moved from Philadelphia to Los Angeles in 1978 to pursue her dream of becoming a stand-up comedienne.Needing a "day job," she became a media estimator at Wells, Rich and Green Advertising where she quickly became captivated by the advertising business. She jumped to Grey Advertising when a media assistant position on the Warner Bros. account opened up, and later, joined Disney's in-house agency, Vista Advertising, as a senior buyer on all their movie releases.

In 1984 she was recruited by Western International Media (now Initiative), where her buying skills led to her being named Vice President, Director of Radio and later Senior Vice President, Associate Media Director. Her phenomenal ability at negotiating led to her appointment as Executive Vice President, Director of Broadcast Negotiations for Initiative North America, where she worked with buyers throughout the country to negotiate for all of the agency's spot broadcast accounts.

Following the tried and true "when you can't beat ,em, hire ,em" philosophy, KCBS/KCAL TV in Los Angeles lured Amy away to head their new business efforts. She later served as Local Sales Manager at K-EARTH radio in L.A.

But , no joke , at her core, Amy is a buyer.
