Goldstein, the camp's program director, said that students need enthusiasm, creativity and a "keen interest in filmmaking."
Regardless of skill level, it's difficult to do a one-minute short, Goldstein said.
"When you're working with young filmmakers you have to be encouraging and be able to instruct, but instruct in a manner that doesn't feel like school," he said.
