Allison Gold, account executive for the Public Relations team. primarily works on media relations for a variety of healthcare and technology clients.Allison writes and edits press releases, pitches stories to media, develops relationships with media for clients, and conducts extensive media and Internet research to monitor issues and track stories.She devotes a significant amount of time to business development -- creating a strategy ; writing and building presentations that clearly define Weber McGinn's approach for successful communications.

Allison is proficient at integrating technology into traditional PR tactics – using cutting-edge technical skills and the latest equipment to maximize results for Weber McGinn's clients.She has played a vital role in achieving success for many of the firm's clients.

Prior to joining the Public Relations team, Allison assisted in Weber McGinn's International Communications Training Center, participating in media, crisis and executive presentation training around the country.During those sessions, Allison worked with CEOs, corporate executives, attorneys and medical experts to develop issue-specific messages and deliver those messages to the media.

Allison has also worked on a variety of video projects including video news releases, crisis scenario videos and internal promotional videos.

Allison began her career as an intern at Weber McGinn while a student at The University of Maryland.She graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and a minor in English.
