Joan Klayman and Craig Given Join Youth Alternatives Management Team
Joan Klayman and Craig Given have joined Youth Alternatives, a nationally accredited provider of services to children, youth and families throughout Maine, as the vice president of community and prevention services and director of information technology, respectively.
Klayman Assumes Vice President Role
Joan Klayman of South Portland joins Youth Alternatives' senior management team as the vice president of community and prevention services.With her strong background in program development and clinical services, she will provide leadership and direction to the agency's many community and prevention programs.She comes to Youth Alternatives from the Center for Tobacco Independence, where she directed the development, implementation and delivery of the statewide, evidence-based tobacco treatment and training programs for healthcare professionals.Prior to that she was a program manager at Ingraham.
Given To Direct Information Technology Efforts
Craig Given, of Scarborough, will lead and oversee the information and technology strategy for the entire agency.An experienced IT manager, he comes to Youth Alternatives with more than a decade of experience helping non-profit organizations identify and implement new technologies to enable greater productivity and efficiency.Most recently, he was the director of information technology for VSA arts, Inc., in Washington, D.C.
