   Fernando Carlo Giuliani Strategic Business & Product Development Manager Building on his robust experience as experimental researcher, he has developed high expertise in the areas of management and coordination of research projects - strategic planning of research industrial activities and particularly in international scientific collaboration. He graduated in Biological Sciences at the University of Milan in 1970. He worked from 1970 to 1982 at the Cancer Institute in Milan as Fellow and Assistant Professor, participating in the development of anthracycline drugs. From 1979 to 1982 he spent long periods as Visiting Professor at the University of California - San Diego. From 1982 to 1988 he was responsible for Experimental Oncology at Farmitalia Carlo Erba SpA in Milan. In 1988 he became Project Manager and Coordinator of Drug Development Programs at Farmitalia Carlo Erba GmbH at Friburg (Germany). In 1990 he joined Boehringer Mannheim Italia as Head of the Experimental Oncology Department and Coordinator of the Oncology Research. On leaving this position in 1999 he founded his own company - FCG Consulting Srl - and since then he has worked as manager, advisor and team leader in many pharmaceutical, biotech companies and public institutions in Europe and the US. Since 2004 he has been part of the Lay Line Genomics management team.
