With over 20 years in the industry, Mr. Girouard's knowledge and reputation make him a strong and dependable leader, bringing professionalism and experience unparalleled in the industry.During his tenure at WesternGeco, Mr. Girouard acted as the Operations Manager for both United States Gulf Coast Operations and United States Land Seismic Operations.Mr. Girouard managed and consolidated separate operating divisions and increased productivity through a focused management team effort.At Western Geophysical, Mr. Girouard managed Latin American Seismic Operations and was responsible for approximately 165 employees and annual sales of $50 MM throughout Mexico, Central and South America.Mr. Girouard also acted as General Manager of Business in the Southern Cone areas including Brazil, Argentina, Peru, and Bolivia.Mr. Girouard's work in South America has given him invaluable international experience as well as a bilingual background.He has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, as well as several professional development certifications.He is also a member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists.

Global Geophysical is pleased to announce the appointment of industry veteran Kirk Girouard to the position of Vice President of USA operations.Kirk has 25 years of operational experience worldwide managing seismic projects in Latin America, Africa, Asia and the Far East, and the US.Kirk has operated field crews in virtually all acquisition environments including Transition Zone, Highland, Marsh, Swamp, Arctic, and Mountains.

During his career at Western Geophysical and WesternGeco, Kirk held a variety of operations management positions including US Land Operations Manager, US Gulf Coast Operations Manager, North American Business Development Manager, General Manager - Latin America, Operations Manager - West Africa, Country Manager , Venezuela and Bolivia, and Manager - Gulf Coast Transition Zone Operations.Degner commenting on Girouard's arrival, "Over the last 20 years I have worked with Kirk from West Africa to South America and throughout North America,.he is quite simply the best seismic field crew operations manager in the business.

Reporting directly to Kirk Girouard, Vice President of Western Hemisphere Land Operations, Chris will capitalize on his well-established network of key contacts in the E&P industry to help expand our Latin America operations into Argentina and beyond.

David (Dave) Maskell joins Global Geophysical as Operations Finance Manager, reporting directly to Global's three product line VP's, Kirk Girouard, Duncan Riley and Maurice Flynn.

In his new position, Duncan becomes the third of Global's primary product line officers, alongside Kirk Girouard, VP - Land Operations, Western Hemisphere and Maurice Flynn, VP - Land Operations, Eastern Hemisphere.

Laurie will report directly to Kirk Girouard, Vice President of Land Operations - Western Hemisphere, and will manage all onshore crew operations in the US.

Reporting directly to Kirk Girouard, VP of Western Hemisphere Land Operations, Mark will support land operations in North America, and also assist Ivan Ortega with crew operations in Latin America.
