We left at 5:20AM and arrived in Glen Carbon, IL to pick up Andrew Gipson and his fiance, leaving there at 7:30.

Andrew had two different types of bratwurst with saurkraut and wonderful hot potato salad on the side.

Andrew Gipson, a former student of mine who is now the Asst Band Director at Edwardsville HS, Illinois, called me at the ungodly hour of 6AM this morning to inform me that his band was performing on one of the STL tv channels at 6:30AM!!!!!!
