Vander Giordano has over 10 years experience conducting and supervising business intelligence matters.He is an expert in a variety of investigative and analytical services, such as internal frauds, asset searches, litigation support, due diligence, counterfeited goods, tax evasion and illegal competition in sectors such as energy, consumer, retail steel and banking.Vander is a managing director in Kroll's Business Intelligence and Investigations division and head of business development for Latin America.

Prior to joining Kroll, Vander worked in the operational and administrative areas of the airline industry managing projects in marketing, product development, air cargo logistics, foreign trade and contracts.A sought-after speaker, Vander has presented for the IBCQ, Fundação Getulio Vargas, Ibmec Educacional, PFN, MPF, American Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Consulate.

Professional Experience

Asset Search.Vander led an investigation for a Brazilian Technology Investment Fund that is part of Brazil's Ministry for Science and Technology.The investigation uncovered 42% of the assets that had been lost throughout the country.

Litigation Support.When faced with a court case in the United States dealing with $300 million in insurance reimbursement, Petrobas sought Vander's expertise to lead the investigation, provide litigation support and ultimately help Petrobas win the case.

Competitive Intelligence.To enable beverage and fuel companies to remodel their competitive strategies and get funding to invest in the market, Vander participated in industry sponsored studies into tax and currency evasion.

"Foreign investors in Brazil are very focused on the intellectual property issues," said Vander Giordano, a director at Kroll, a risk consulting business whose S,o Paulo office investigated the pharmacies.
