George Giordano Named Director Of Risk Management For Clarkson University

George Giordano has been appointed director of risk management/purchasing and special projects for Clarkson University.

Prior to joining Clarkson earlier this month, Giordano held positions of director of risk management at Penn Traffic Company and P&C Foods in Syracuse.

"George Giordano has a strong background in risk management and more than 20 years of leadership experience," said Clarkson Vice President for Finance and Administration James Manaro."He is ideally suited for this position, and we are pleased he has joined our administrative team."

Giordano holds a master's degree in finance from Syracuse University and is licensed in New York State as an insurance broker and life and health agent.He has also served as director of internal auditing at Pneumo Corporation and director of planning at Carl's Drug Company.
