Rosemary is also applying herself to language studies in preparation for future trips abroad.These are all items for prayer.We have made contact with Basharat Ureem from Pakistan.On completion of his studies at Bible School and a period of practical work, he will return to Hyderabad, Sind, to work among the gypsies there.

"Rosemary Gibbard of Ashford Road, South Woodford, has received a BT Community Challenge Silver Award for her work for The New Bridge, an organisation which befriends men in prison.Just retired as a BT Credit Controller, Rosemary has been a tireless member of The New Bridge for 14 years.

We have not recovered from the heavy expenditure on the purchase, and subsequent repair last year, of a vehicle for the work of Sonnie and Rosemary in Eastern Europe.

We still have that vehicle but we need to sell it as quickly as possible. This is necessary because Sonnie and Rosemary are likely to be leaving these shores in the late spring, for their 2005 ministry visit, and the sale of the car would provide vitally needed funds.

First of all they would like to thank all the supporters of GFC for their prayers over the years, their gifts, letters of encouragement and happy times they have spent with you in your homes churches. At the moment Sonnie and Rosemary have not made any plans for the summer but they will be returning to Slovakia in due course. Sonnie still has legal matters to attend to and is keen to get the carpentry workshop for boys started. This has been his vision for sometime and as premises have been found and the tools are in place he would like to get it running. He would appreciate your prayers for God's help and guidance with this project. At the Trustees meeting in January, Rosemary, who has been our secretary for over ten years, resigned. She will be going into hospital on 10/03/05 to have a cataract removed from her left eye and would like to have plenty of time to rest. Please pray for her speedy recovery. However, she and Sonnie are happy to visit Slovakia as representatives of GFC, to continue as trustees and allow their house to be used for meetings.
