Roger is a chartered surveyor, a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers, and member of the Agricultural Law Association.His interests encompass rural land management generally, with specific focus on rural property law,compulsory purchase ,and property and business taxation.His teaching includes agricultural law and valuation, property taxation, and rural land management.
Roger is Departmental director of teaching and learning, responsible for co-ordinating all teaching policies within the department, and is undergraduate admissions tutor for the property programmes.He is also director of Rural Studies and programme director for the MSc in Rural Land & Business Management.
