    Mike is currently a consultant specialising in planning supervision. He is the nominated Planning Supervisor for the majority of Oxfordshire highway and bridge schemes prepared in the Jacobs Reading, Thame and Telford offices from 2002 to date. He has also worked as a consultant to UK Highways and Carillion on the setting up of the M40 DBFO with particular reference to Health & Safety and Risk Management in motorway construction and maintenance.

    His career started in 1966 as a Graduate Engineer for Oxfordshire County Council. After working for 30 years at the council he moved to Babtie Group as a Technical Director.

    He became a member of the ICE and IHT in 1984 and has sat on the branch committee for a number of years.
