Amanda Gibbard

Amanda Gibbard has worked as a primary teacher in the UK , and as a teacher trainer both in Gambia and of Egyptian teachers at the University of East Anglia.Following her time in Gambia , she won a DFID Education Development Scheme Award to study for an MA in Education and Professional Development , specialising in basic education in developing countries.She joined CEC in 1999 as Assistant Education Adviser , and is currently UK based project manager for the Gansu Basic Education Project in China.

Amanda Gibbard (Module 1 tutor) Amanda Gibbard works full time as Programme Co-ordinator at IEC, currently focusing on the co-ordination of the redevelopment of the University of London ODFL course.She is an education professional who has worked as a primary teacher in the UK, a primary in-service teacher trainer in The Gambia, and an English tutor on the Egyptian Teachers Programme at the University of East Anglia.

She was also an Assistant Education Adviser with Cambridge Education Consultants where she had experience of project planning and management for clients in a range of locations and institutional environments.She has an MA in Education and Professional Development from the University of East Anglia.
