Dr. Marwan Ghazoul joined the Arizona Heart Institute (AHI) in 1999 after serving as a clinical associate with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio.
Previously, he was in private practice for more than four years.
Dr. Ghazoul earned his medical degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara in Mexico and the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey.
He completed a general surgery internship and residency at Meridia Huron Road Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio where he was involved in various research activities and was named Outstanding Resident of the Year and Best Chief Resident.
He then completed a peripheral vascular and endovascular surgical fellowship at AHI.
He fulfilled his cardiothoracic surgical residency at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee.
Board-certified in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, Dr. Ghazoul provides services at AHI main office located in central Phoenix.
