George Georgeff, Highland Town Council member, said a NIPSCO tower on U.S. 41 must go, but it will cost $300,000 to relocate.

INDOT and NIPSCO are trying to reach a settlement regarding who will pay for moving the tower and other structures, he said.

Georgeff said INDOT's not willing to provide additional law enforcement during the project.
