Lorye George is the Managing Director and owner of Reed Group, LLC, and Reed Shay & Company.She assumed the management and leadership of the executive search practice in 1990 and has been leading and building the firm's capabilities through dynamic growth stages.Lorye drives internal process for every client assignment undertaken by our firm and is the managing director for the firm's operations.She leads all administrative, financial, investment and strategic sourcing services for the company.

Before her career in executive search, Lorye worked in business development and professional services in the telecommunications industry.She also led national account sales and support for an international switching system vendor serving university complexes and government agencies.In 1994 she received her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology and helped develop unique client services and candidate evaluation tools for the practice.She designs and implements internal development programs for our team of consultants and provides day-to-day problem solving for organizational and client issues.Her work "behind the scenes" is a key component of our success.

Lorye lives in Mill Valley, CA and is an active member of her community.She is a professional artist and operates a small fine art practice and consultancy called Uma, Ltd.Lorye loves to travel, pursue spiritual adventures, and to spend time with her family and friends.She is a major cat lover.
