Lisa George, biology and chemistry teacher at Sammamish, said she has two masters' degrees and was a dietician before starting to teach.She said she found preparing for National Boards to be very difficult.She learned to critically analyze curriculum and also learned that "we have an awesome biology curriculum here."She got to know many teachers she would never have met and had an opportunity to work with ESL teachers to the ultimate benefit of her students.
