Patrick Geiger has served as the director of choral music activities at Coon Rapids High School since 1992 and is in his third year as the Chancel Choir director at Faith Lutheran Church in Coon Rapids.In 1994, Patrick (or Rick) was nominated for MMEA Choral Vice President and from 1995-1998 served as the Choral Assistant and Membership Chair for MMEA.In 1997-1998, Patrick served as the Facilities Co-Chair for the ACDA Minneapolis Regional Convention in 1998.In 1997, Patrick was a finalist for the Teachers Outstanding Performance Award in the Anoka-Hennepin School District.In the summers of 2001 and 2002 he happily coached the first tenors in the Minnesota All-State Men's Choir.Patrick is a magna cum laude graduate of Concordia College, Moorhead.While at Concordia, he studied voice with Dr. Christopher Cock and conducting with Dr. René Clausen.Patrick was a member of the Concordia College Concert Choir from 1988 to 1991.He still enjoys performing in vocal ensembles and has been a member of The St. Paul Chamber Singers, the Central Lutheran Church Compline Choir, and Kantorei.He is a member of ACDA, MMEA, and The Voice Care Network.
