    Last week, when he received the phone call from Bernard Triest, HR Manager at VLM Airlines announcing that he was nominated as the next Flying Hero, Koen was pleasantly surprised.Koen commented: "The Luxembourg colleagues are great people to work with and because of my job I come in contact with all of them on a regular basis, from pilots to ticket desk agents.The Luxembourg weather and airport authorities can sometimes be a challenge at Findel, but I always make sure our planes leave on time, as that is what our passengers expect from us."

    For Koen, his job is something he enjoys tremendously every single day and this is something that is clearly appreciated by the colleagues who nominated him.
