Michelle Geary

Michelle Geary of Roxbury is in her second year of teaching computers in a private school in Montville.She said she wants to get her teacher certification in elementary education.

For 31/2 years, Geary was a consultant for a small company that went into a nosedive after Sept. 11, 2001, when the local telecommunications businesses started shedding jobs.By 2002, she was out of work.Her company did a lot of recruiting for the technology industry, she said.

Geary said her family has many teachers and the career fits into her life as a mother with two children.
