Joe Ganley is Director of Strategic Partnerships for Massachusetts 2020.In this capacity he works with the Chairman and President to develop and maintain partnerships with key local, state and federal elected officials and government agencies.He is also responsible for external communications and media relations.In December of 2001, Joe helped coordinate Massachusetts 2020's groundbreaking study: No Time to Lose, Children and their After-School Hours, a survey of Massachusetts parents that revealed an estimated 220,000 children are on their own most days after-school.
From January to July of 2004, Joe served as a senior consultant to Boston 2004, Inc. the not-for profit host committee for the Democratic National Convention held in Boston in July 2004.In this capacity, Joe directed Celebrate Boston, a major advertising and marketing campaign leading up to the convention.The campaign included television, print, radio and web advertising as well as over 250 community events throughout the city, culminating with a free public concert by the Boston Pops on City Hall Plaza on the Sunday before the convention.

In 1998, Joe was Director of Volunteers for Keane's campaign for the U.S. Congress.
Joe has worked in various capacities with a number of Democratic political campaigns.He is the recipient of the Massachusetts Democratic Party's John F. Kennedy Scholars award, and has served on the Boards of the Massachusetts Coalition for a Democratic Future, the Young Democrats of Massachusetts and the Nashua Valley Council, Boy Scouts of America.Joe earned a B.S. in Political Science from Northeastern University.
A native of Gardner, Joe now lives in Charlestown, MA.
