Michelle Gallant named Director, Marketing and Communications of NSCC

Lindsey Clark, Consultant with Ray & Berndtson/Robertson Surrette is pleased to have assisted the Nova Scotia Community College in the recruitment of their new Director of Marketing and Communications, Michelle Gallant.

Michelle has executive responsibility for the develop-ment and implementation of the College's branding strategy, as well as its strategic marketing and com- munications functions.Michelle leads a team of mar- keting and communications professionals in optimizing marketing initiatives, devising strategies and providing advice on the overall direction of a broad range of internal and external strategic initiatives.

Throughout her career, strategist is the word that best captures Michelle's contribution to the organizations she has served.As a strategic advisor to many of Atlantic Canada's leading companies while a consultant at CCL, and in leadership roles in marketing and communications in the public and private post- secondary education sector, Michelle has combined an ability to think strategically with a consistency in delivering results.

Michelle graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University with a Bachelor of Public Relations.In addition, she is accredited by the Canadian Public Relations Society.Also active in the community, Michelle has volunteered her time and expertise with organizations such as Metro United Way, Neptune Theatre, Metro YMCA, Symphony Nova Scotia, and is currently on the Board of Pier 21.
