WineMaster, Michael Gallant, has been a wine nut since before he was old enough to buy the stuff.It all started with a college degree in French and only got worse when he moved to California in 1988.It was then that he started making regular trips to many of the California wine areas.His interest and enthusiasm (not to mention his frequent appearances in the vineyards) brought him to the attention of Tobin Toby James Shumrick and Dick Steltzner.

It didn't take long for the group to see that Michael's many California contacts and refined tastebuds could help them secure interesting wines.These friends kept the UPS delivery guy very busy supplying wines to many in the tasting group.Then in October of 1996 Michael Gallant, Chuck Parker, and Jim Yamane launched The Right Wine Retail Shop and Wine Club.

Michael currently lives in Atlanta GA, where he is the Events Coordinator for the Georgia Institute of Technology.He leads several wine tastings a month at Toulouse, a known Atlanta restaurant and teaches a number of wine education classes through Emory University.He is involved with a local wine publication called The Atlanta Wine Report and is a regular participant in many trade events and tasting panels.This year he is serving as the assistant director of the Atlanta Wine South Festival, held June 17 - 18.This event will feature wine, food, music, and art and will attract well over 1000 consumers.Michael still travels the world in search of for good wines and his personally hosted Insider Wine Country Tours are very popular with Right Wine Club members.

Michael and his wife Beth, live in Powder Springs, Georgia.They have two sons, a cat, and a very impressive wine cellar.
