Michael Gagan

Michael completed his PhD on demographic consequences of environmental gradients in chaetodontids in 2006 at JCU under the supervision of Howard Choat along with Centre members Morgan Pratchett and Geoff Jones.

Michael has recently taken up a postdoctoral fellowship with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute in the USA.Prior to this he had a one-year appointment at the University of Arkansas as Visiting Assistant Professor.His primary responsibilities are conducting postdoc research, and, of course, applying for grants.
