Saif El-Islam Gaddafi, the President of the Gaddafi International Foundation for Charitable Associations, and H.E. Koike Yuriko, the Japanese Minister of the Environment have presided over the opening ceremony of the exhibition "The Desert is Not Silent" in its 9th station, at the Japan Foundation Hall, in Tokyo (Akasaka).Were present at the ceremony, H.R.H. Prince Tomo Hito of Japan, Japanese former Prime Minister Mori, some members of the Japanese government, and highest political and cultural personalities.This important gallery devoted to Libyan antiquities and paintings by Eng.Saif El-Islam Gaddafi, Salah Shagroun and Fawzi Omar Swei, stayed in Tokyo till April 14th 2005 and was attended by more than 7000 visitors, the public been attracted by the artistic work of Eng.
