Julie Fulton, RD, LDN, NSCA-CPT, is a dietitian and fitness professional dedicated to helping others attain optimal health, providing an array of health care services that includes cardiovascular, bone density, diabetes and colorectal screening.
She has served as Clinical Nutrition Specialist at the Block Center since 1998.
Her career began at the University of California, Santa Barbara where she worked as the Coordinator of the Peer Health Education Program.
After relocating to Chicago, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Benedictine University in Lisle.
She became a certified fitness instructor through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the American Council on Exercise (ACE); in 1999, she completed the National Strength and Conditioning Association Personal Trainer Certification (NSCA-CPT) and was also named the West Suburban Dietetic Association's Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year.
After completing her dietetic internship at Loyola University Medical Center, Ms. Fulton received specialized training in the areas of weight management, sports nutrition, cardiology, and diabetes.
Jacki Glew, MS, RD, LDN, is a Registered Dietitian (RD) and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN).
Prior to receiving her B.S. in Nutrition & Dietetics from Northern Illinois University, she completed her B.A. at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
She received her Master's degree from Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, where her clinical rotations focused on oncology, and she conducted research on the use of dietary supplements among hospitalized patients.
Jacki previously educated dialysis patients with renal failure, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, liver disease, and HIV/AIDS.
She is currently a member of the American Dietetic Association, Chicago Dietetic Association, and the Renal Nutrition, Oncology Nutrition, and Nutrition in Complementary Care Dietetic Practice Groups.
